What is Google SSO?

Google Single Sign-On (SSO) lets you log in to Privy using your existing Google account instead of creating and remembering a separate Privy password. This means faster, more secure access using the same Google credentials you already use for email and other Google services.

How Google SSO Works

  1. On the Privy login page, click Sign in with Google

  2. Select your Google account (or sign in to Google if you aren’t already).

    1. Make sure to select an SSO account that matches the email on file with your Privy account.

  3. You’ll be logged into Privy automatically—no additional password needed.

Important: Your Privy Email Address

When you log in with Google SSO, your Privy account is linked directly to the email address on your Google account.

  • You cannot change your email address inside Privy when using Google SSO.

  • To update your email in Privy, you'll need to log in with your Privy account password instead of Google SSO. This helps ensure you don't lose access to your account.

Why Use Google SSO?

  • One-click, password-free access to Privy.

  • Secure login protected by Google’s authentication system.

  • Less to remember—no separate Privy password required.

Note: If you have trouble logging in with Google SSO, make sure you’re signed in to the correct Google account or try clearing your browser’s cache before attempting again.
