Step 1: Take the Privy Quickstart Course
Kick off your Privy journey by completing the Privy Quickstart Course—designed specifically for agents like you. In just 25 minutes, you’ll gain valuable insights and learn the essential steps to position yourself as an investment expert, attract more investor leads, and grow your network.
Why start here? Agents who complete this course first consistently close more deals, generate quality leads, and build stronger client relationships. It’s the quickest way to master the basics and set yourself up for success!
Step 2: Set Up Your Agent Profile
Your agent profile is your introduction to potential clients and investors. Make sure it reflects your professionalism by including the following:
Your contact information
A professional headshot
MLS ID and coverage area
Branding details
Relevant social media accounts
A compelling professional bio
Don’t forget to turn on 'Investor Leads'!
At the bottom of your profile, check the box labeled "Yes, I want Investor Leads" to become a Privy Pro Agent in your MLS coverage area. This simple step can help you attract new clients and grow your business by connecting you with active investors.
Step 3: Add Your Investor Clients
Did you know that agents who add at least 10 clients to Privy experience up to 72% more success? Adding your clients to Privy is a powerful way to stay connected, build trust, and deliver value.
By uploading your investor clients, you can:
Keep them informed about the latest market trends and investment opportunities.
Increase the likelihood of referrals and expand your client base.

Step 4: Set Up Saved Searches for Your Clients
Once you've added your clients to your Privy roster, take the next step by creating saved searches tailored to their exact buying criteria. With saved searches, you can:
Automate updates: Privy sends automatic emails to your clients whenever a new property matches their specifications.
Save time: Let Privy handle the heavy lifting while you focus on building relationships.
Deliver personalized value: Show your clients you understand their needs by keeping them informed about opportunities that fit their goals.
It’s a simple way to provide exceptional service and keep your clients engaged!
Step 5: Setup agent branded deal alerts
Never miss a deal again by setting up real-time deal alerts for you and your clients. These alerts notify you the moment a property matching your client’s criteria hits the market, keeping everyone informed and ahead of the competition.
To make these alerts stand out, ensure your logo and headshot are uploaded (from Step 2) to personalize the alerts with your agent branding. It’s a simple way to reinforce your professional image while delivering exceptional service!
Step 6: Attend a Live Training Session
Join a live training session hosted by our Customer Success Team to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Privy platform. During the session, you’ll:
Receive a complete walkthrough of the platform’s features and tools.
