Below are the most common reasons for verification issues and the steps you can take to restore your access:
Potential Reasons for Verification Issues
1. Incorrect MLS ID Entry
Issue: The MLS ID entered in your Privy profile does not match the MLS database.
Solution:
Contact your MLS to confirm your correct MLS ID.
Email the correct MLS ID to [email protected], and our team will update your profile and restore your access once verified.
2. Change in MLS Membership Status
Issue: Your membership status may have changed due to outstanding payments or incomplete CE courses.
Solution:
Contact your MLS to resolve the issue and update your membership status.
Once updated, your MLS ID will automatically sync with Privy. Allow some time for MLS systems to communicate changes to Privy.
3. License Status Change
Issue: Your MLS membership might be marked as "inactive" due to a license status change, such as during license renewals, transfers, or breaks from real estate work.
Solution:
Ensure your license is active and contact your MLS to update your membership status.
Privy will automatically restore your access once the MLS status is updated.
4. Incorrect ID Type Used
Issue: A non-MLS ID, such as a license ID or NRDs ID, was entered instead of an MLS ID.
Solution:
Verify that you are using your MLS ID, not another type of ID.
5. Not an Agent?
Issue: You selected the Agent plan type during sign-up but are not a licensed agent.
Solution:
Email [email protected], and our team will update your account to an Investor account. Note that you will be subject to investor account pricing.
