Set yourself up for success with Privy. Here is everything you need on day one.

Welcome to Privy!

We've put this guide together to help you succeed at speed, using the tips & tricks we've all picked up along the way from our customers.


How did we create this guide?

We've onboarded thousands of customers, reviewed data, and taken feedback to create the following checklist detailing the most impactful steps our most successful customers took in their first days using Privy.

Privy was created by someone just like you (an agent / investor), for you. That said, we like to keep things simple and easy, and that's exactly how we created the checklist below to get you up and running in no time.


Step 1: Take the Privy Quick Start Course

We would highly encourage you to take this course before you do anything else in the platform. We've spent years analyzing data and interviewing customers, and those that followed these steps had much more success right from the get-go. Plus, you can complete it in less than 25 minutes!


Step 2: Upload your past investment deals

Have past investment opportunities that you'd like to replicate the success of? Upload your properties and build a repeatable process based on what previously worked and what didn't.


Step 3: Setup saved searches

Easily create saved searches based on your exact specifications and have Privy do the work for you by sending automatic emails anytime a new property matches your criteria.


Step 4: Setup automated deal alert emails

You will never miss a deal again when you set up real-time deal alerts.


Step 5: Attend a Live Training Session

Attend a live training session hosted by our Customer Success Team, where you'll get a complete walkthrough of the platform, followed by a live Q&A session, where you can have your questions answered in real time.

We work hard to make sure Privy is not only impactful for you, but easy and enjoyable to use. You'll have plenty of support and guidance throughout the onboarding process, but if you find yourself stuck, there are a lot of places to help you get the most out of Privy, depending on where you are or what you need:

Wherever you are in Privy, you'll find helpful tooltips or hotspots with embedded educational content to help you learn more. Keep an eye out for this icon around the platform for additional context and links to helpful information and tutorials.

Where we have all our help articles like this one, FAQs, how-tos, and best practices all in one place. Most of our customers find everything they need and more right here.

Courses

We are continually adding courses so our customers can continue to gain knowledge and become Privy experts. Whether you are new to Privy, or just need a refresher, we highly recommend you review our courses here.

Live Trainings

Our customer success team runs regular live training sessions, which consist of a full walkthrough of Privy followed by a live Q&A session where you can ask any pressing questions and get an answer in real time. Register here.
